The Moment Before You Leap: Why Fear Doesn’t Mean You’re Not Ready

Dec 23, 2025

Do you remember swinging on the monkey bars as a kid?

One hand gripping the last bar pretending the floor was lava while the other hand would stretch to the next bar.

Sometimes we’d hang there for a second. Suspended. Caught between giving up and dropping to the ground or finding the strength (mental and physical) to keep going.

And whether we realized it or not, that lesson was a metaphor for what would be required of you in life anytime you tried something new.

Because we all know:
You can’t move forward if you keep holding on to both.

At some point, you have to let go.

At some point, you stop waiting to “feel ready”…
And you trust the swing.

You trust the effort it took to get here.
You trust the evidence you’ve been collecting with every brave move.
And eventually, you trust that what’s next will catch you.

Letting Go Isn’t Always Loud

It’s easy to think confidence comes with clarity, perfect timing, or the absence of fear.

But the truth is, most of us leap scared.
We move not because the fear disappears, but because we finally realize:
Fear isn’t a stop sign, it’s a sign we’re doing something that matters.

A conversation I have often is one where someone is doing “all the right things,” but nothing is really changing. The shift happens only when we begin to create space to trust ourselves and listen to what we need. That shift in trust, not strategy, is when everything begins to click.

That’s what I want for you, too.

Maybe You’re In That Space Right Now

Where the strategies and patterns that helped you survive are no longer serving you.
Where part of you knows there’s a new level calling…
But letting go feels uncomfortable. Exposing. Even a little terrifying.

I’ve been there.

✨ Right now, I know exactly what I’m releasing.
And I’m swinging into 2026 without gripping what no longer fits.

Not because the fear is gone.
But because I’ve built the inner strength to move anyway.

And that shift didn’t happen by accident.

It happened inside a space that felt safe enough to grow.
Where I was stretched, supported, and witnessed.
Not just as an artist, a coach, or a creative…
But as a whole human being.

You Weren’t Meant to Do This Alone

Healing in isolation only takes you so far.
But healing and growing in a space where your ambition and your peace are equally welcome is where your next version is born.

So if you’re standing in your own “monkey bar moment”…
If you’re craving clarity, confidence, and connection as you move into 2026,

I want to invite you into something different.

A space to:

✔ Trust your timing
✔ Move from self-leadership instead of self-pressure
✔ Finally let go of survival-mode and build from alignment, creativity, and calm confidence

Because you don’t need to become someone else to move forward.
You just need to trust the version of you that’s already ready.

Try This Before You Go

🖐🏽 Place one hand on your heart.
🖐🏽 The other on your belly.
💨 Inhale for 4… hold for 4… exhale for 6.
(Repeat twice.)

Now ask yourself:

“Am I still gripping onto something that no longer serves who I’m becoming?”

Sometimes your nervous system doesn’t need more evidence.
It just needs your permission.

✨ To leap.
✨ To lead.
✨ To land in your next level, not perfectly, but powerfully.

And remember: feeling fear doesn’t mean you’re not ready.
It means this next chapter matters to you.
