Peace was never the destination. It was the art of Peace was never the destination. It was the art of finally coming home to myself๐Ÿค

The journey from overwhelm to peace didnโ€™t come with a roadmap ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ

There were no coordinates, no perfect morning routine๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธ, no checklist ๐Ÿ“

Just this aching feeling that there had to be more than rushing through life...

For years, I believed peace meant stillness. That I needed to somehow โ€œclear my mindโ€ to feel better

But what if peace was never about emptying yourselfโ€ฆ and instead about remembering yourself?

It was in the micro-moments I used to overlookโ€”

 ๐Ÿฉต Pausing between tasks

๐Ÿฉต Letting my breath be the first thing I tune into instead of the last

๐Ÿฉต Listening to what I actually needed instead of pushing through and ignoring the signs

๐Ÿฉต Honouring my very busy, creative mind instead of trying to โ€œfix itโ€

Thatโ€™s where I discovered:

Peace isnโ€™t found by getting somewhere else or becoming someone else ๐Ÿ—๏ธ Itโ€™s unlocked by finally honouring who you already are

Your pace isnโ€™t wrong
Your energy isnโ€™t too much
โžก๏ธYour busy mind is not the problemโ€”itโ€™s your pathway to peace

So instead of forcing change, what if you created more space for it?

If this speaks to the part of you thatโ€™s craving a gentler, more you-aligned way forward, come explore the journey with me inside Creative Paths to Peace ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŽจ!

Doors are open now ๐Ÿ’Œ Comment โ€œPEACEโ€ or DM me to learn more
Have you ever felt like no matter how hard you try Have you ever felt like no matter how hard you try, youโ€™re still behind?

Behind on success
Behind on healing
Behind on finally reaching that vision you have for your life?

๐ŸŒบIn this weekโ€™s Bloom Bin, we slowed all of that down๐ŸŒบ

We explored the ache of impatienceโ€”especially when youโ€™re craving financial freedom or your next big leap.

And I shared a simple yet powerful meditation + creative exercise called The Seed & The Sun that helps you reconnect with your inner timing, not the worldโ€™s ๐ŸŒŽ

๐ŸŒฑ Because just like the bamboo that takes years to root before it shoots up 90 feet in six weeksโ€”your bloom is still becoming.
โœจ If youโ€™re ready to stop forcing growth and start creating space for it insteadโ€ฆ this oneโ€™s for you.

๐Ÿ” Watch the replay above

You donโ€™t need to earn rest.
You donโ€™t need to rush healing.
Your peace has its own perfect timing too๐Ÿฉต

Sending you love and creativity,
Katherine

Youโ€™ve been doing the inner work no one sees โœ๏ธTh Youโ€™ve been doing the inner work no one sees

โœ๏ธThe journaling.
๐Ÿง The unlearning.
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธThe unseen shifts in how you speak to yourself.

And maybe youโ€™ve wondered: โ€œWhy is it taking so long?โ€. โ€œShouldnโ€™t I be further by now?โ€

๐Ÿชต A Zen Reminder: The Bamboo Tree

For 5 years, the Chinese bamboo shows no visible growth.

No sprout. No sign.

But beneath the soil, itโ€™s rooting deeply.

Then in its 5th year, it shoots up 90 feet in just 6 weeks.

๐ŸŒฑ Did it grow in six weeks? Or over five years and six weeks?

But just like the bamboo. Youโ€™ve been growing beneath the surface.

Not still.
Not stuck.
Just becoming strong enough to rise.

๐ŸŒฑYou are the bamboo.

๐ŸŒบYour bloom is coming.

โณTrust in your timing.

โœจ If youโ€™re craving creative ways to feel more peace in your process, I send out weekly meditations and art rituals just like this.

Comment PEACE and Iโ€™ll add you to my weekly listโ˜บ๏ธ
โœจ Bloom Bin Live โœจ Our very first gathering ๐ŸŒธwhe โœจ Bloom Bin Live โœจ

Our very first gathering ๐ŸŒธwhere we created space for peace through poetry, meditation, and presence

We explored how leaning into our creativity โ€” even when fear or doubt shows up โ€” creates more space for peace to emerge.

Instead of getting stuck in the lack, we practiced opening, softening, and trusting that our creative energy already knows the way.

Thank you for being part of this first bloom! ๐Ÿฆ‹

I accidentally filmed the exact moment shame took I accidentally filmed the exact moment shame took over my body ๐Ÿซ‚

I was in Halifax, filming a beautiful botanical garden to hold onto the beautyโ€ฆ

Then I saw people walking by.
Without even thinking, I dropped the camera to face the ground

Not because I was done filming.

But because I was embarrassed that someone might see me.

The garden didnโ€™t change... ๐ŸŒฑ

But I didโ€”because I suddenly believed I had no right to document that moment.

Because somewhere in me, an old voice still whispered:

โ€œPeople on camera just want attention.โ€

That voice has stopped me from showing up more times than I can count.

๐Ÿ”†It has silenced joy.
๐ŸŽจInterrupted creativity.
๐ŸฉตAnd stolen my peace.

But hereโ€™s what I realized as I rewatched the footage:

I didnโ€™t just capture a pretty garden๐ŸŒบ

I captured the moment self-judgment tried to shrink me back into smallnessโœจ

And now, I get to choose something new.

What if honouring your creative expression isn't "attention-seeking"?

What if it's coming home to the peace that's always been waiting for you?๐Ÿซ‚

๐ŸซFast or slow ๐ŸซDeep or shallow ๐ŸซRegular or irregul ๐ŸซFast or slow
๐ŸซDeep or shallow
๐ŸซRegular or irregular

We were trained to scan breath like a lifeline.

But I never once paused to notice my own.

Not the breath I was holding.
Not the tension I carried.

Not the silent exhale I waited 12 hours to releaseโ€”
until I got home, showered, hugged my husband and finally felt safe.

๐ŸคNow, when I sigh in nature or paint with no plan,

I take it as a little love note from my nervous system
๐Ÿ’Œ Youโ€™re safe now
๐Ÿ’Œ Youโ€™re healing
๐Ÿ’Œ Youโ€™re allowed to exhale

This is what therapeutic art actually does.

It brings the body back into safetyโ€”
one mark, one breath, one truth at a time๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ

๐ŸซHas your breath been trying to speak to you?

Share this with someone who is carrying a lot and needs a gentle reminder to exhale todayโค๏ธ
